The Fujiya is a Japanese style teppanyaki restaurant in Gordon on Sydney's North coast. It's a run by some Chinese people and they are doing a great job. Nice meat, big portions and if you like people playing with food you are in the right spot. The fried rice and a few eggs are thrown around and you are supposed to catch them. The down site is that the restaurant is not licenced so forget about a nice cool sake.

Overall though a nice experience. Nothing to special but not bad at all. Great fun factor and some nice food.

What a nice combination: American Spare Ribs and German Beer. If that is what you are looking for check out the Great American Rib Company on Sukhumvit Soi 36. A nice beer garden in the middle of town and some great food and a ice-cold beer makes it worth the trip down to Soi 36.

If you think of Bangkok you might not think of fresh seafood but try the Laguna Seafood Restaurant on Sukhumvit Soi 11. Fresh oysters, shrimps and fish, whatever seafood you like it's there. And it's fresh, tasty and quite cheap.

Overall a nice restaurant with some great local food. Try it out.

For some traditional Thai food set in a romantic atmosphere visit the Kinnaree Restaurant on Sukhumvit Soi 8. After slurping some of the fancy cocktails enjoy a great meal and finish off the evening by watching a Thai Dancing Show. Great atmosphere with a love to the detail earn this restaurant a very high fun-factor score.

You can find some nice food in the Whitening Restaurant on Koh Tao. Sit on the beach and enjoy that nice bottle of wine with some fresh seafood. The food here is great but the staff needs to learn a bit better how to serve customers.

Traditional japanese bar food is served in the Kakureya Restaurant in Koh Tao. Not the typical sushi or sashimi but some nice stuff from the grill or home-made smoked chicken and ham. Wash it down with a nice cold sake before taking a bath in the Yakuzen Japanese Bath Village. Do check the opening hourse before climbing up the hill. But if you make it there it's a fantastic place with a stunning view and some good japanese food.

Looking for some traditional Thai food or as my good friend says 'Food for the soul' then you should come down to Koh Samui and try the Mae Nam Restaurant. It's traditional Thai Food, not the softer and different tasting european Thai food which will surprise and stimulate your taste buds.

What a great place to have some traditional local food for next to nothing.

The Green Man is a traditional english pub a bit outside tropical Phuket. The setting is very nice and the beer pretty good. But don't try the food there. The menu sounds like some nice english pub food but I hope you don't get that kind of food in a real english pub. The only thing which is the same as in England is the price.

Overall a nice place to have an expensive beer with a good friend but please do not come here hungry as the food is just not a nice surprice.

First looking at the name you what think it's just another German restaurant but actually the Gasthof Boracay is famous for its baby back spare ribs.

Quite a nice place, the ribs are quite good but at the end it's all just average.

If you are looking for something different for a change then try the Hobbit House in Boracay. They advertise with having the smallest waiters in the world and it's true.

Try to visit the Oriental Star in the evening for a romantic dinner. The food is mostly fresh seafood and why not enjoy the sunset with a nice glass of wine. There is a life dancing show at nine o'clock.

Overall a nice place to dine, not expensive but nothing too fancy either.

The "Bobhuette" is a nice mountain restaurant in the heart of the Thuringian Forest. After a pleassant hike on the hill side surrounding the lovely town of Ilmenau it is a must to refresh in the "Bobhuette" with a cold beer and some traditional german food.

Definetelly worth a visit even though the food and drink quality is basic but that's partly due to the location.

If you are looking for some nice seafood or steaks then the Lobster Pot in Pattaya's Walking Street should not be your first choice.

Quite expensive, small portions and only a below average taste keep the fun factor for this restaurant unfortunatelly very low.
